Had a good day today, it was nice to see everyone. I sold a couple birds and had a good time just sitting and relaxing

I came home too two button quail with pips in them

I hear ya on the room issue! But I somehow manage to allways find room! LOL And i dont let anything the hubby says affect if I get something or not. If he dont like it he knows where the door is! He allways threatens that if I come home with another animal he is leaving....I keep bringing them home, but I cant get him to leave! Not kidding! LOL

I got buttons....ummm lets see, 16 days ago! LOL I bought some eggs from someone off ebay. Here are the pips in the egg....C'mon buttons!!!

I'm glad he waited for the car ride home..lol Isnt it the cutest crow!

i will have some Serama chicks hatching this coming week...keeping my fingers crossed! These eggs are are from Camelot farms here on BYC.

Once they start popping out they are like popcorn, and they are practically dry and run around so fast they look as if they are rolling like a marble! I love that little roo I got from ya today, I am hoping the little hen I am putting him with will like him too. I will give him a few days, then sneek them together in the dark.

there is a VERY good chance we could bring you some. we will be at both tilton swaps next weekend.
our drake is a blue yed white. For girls we have a chocolate and a beautiful lavender. the lavender is the little lady who sat on the eggs for 5 weeks. The duckling I picked up was chocolate but I also saw some light colored ones and light ducks with dark patches(PIED?). hubby does ducks so I am not good with colors.
Send me a pm if you would like more info. I am sure they will come out of hiding soon so we can see what we have. there were still unhatched eggs last night so mom is not moving yet.

I hatched 1 button a short while ago. I have been giving it newborn chicks to keep it company but it needs a quail buddy. I think it is old enough to tell what it is. If anyone can sex quail, I want to buy 1 friend of the opposite gender. I thnk it might be a male?
I would like a different color. mine is dark, so something light would be great. if anyone has one for sale let me know.
