BTW they are all Pete because I just cant remember names of all the birds in my flock....there are too many

So these ducks shall be Pete, as in Stinky Pete. They are currently in my closet and living up to their name

....the Call ducks are Timmys and Georges and besides a select few chickens they all answer to "Girls"

Good Christmas here, made even better today when BOTH my Serama pullets laid their first eggs this morning! HOORAY! felt like I was 5 and it was Christmas morning. LOL

No snow here in Salisbury, just North of Concord. In fact, this rain is probably going to slick things up a bit when it stops. I would rather have snow.

OK I am already sick of this cold wind....If I put any more plastic on the coops they wont be able to breathe!

and I can't seem to make the ducks go inside....the brats figured out they can fly and I can no longer catch them

They stay inside the fence but can't make them go inside. Someone please tell me they are wearing water proof down coats and aren't as cold as I think. Are ducks stupid enough to sit out in the cold and die or will they seek shelter if its too cold for them?

If you have shelter provided for them (doghouse or??) for them to go in if they please, that might work. If not, I wouldn't sweat it.
