I think Indian runners would be my first choice. I'd also be interested in Welsh harlequins, Magpies, or Dutch Hookbills.

you probably won't see eggs till spring. once they start they hardly ever skip a day spring-summer-and fall. ours always stop in the winter. the runners stopped one week ago.

Any of you into ducks? I'm hoping to get a few ducks this year to help with slug/snail control and it'd be nice if I could get them locally. Any tips or leads?

I agree with cheryl,It will be good to see everyone.

this season I have decided to take more of an active role in the running of the swaps. I will be assisting Greg at the events and durnig the week.
One thing we would like to do is to get an idea of what types and breeds of animals will be available at each swap. when you register please include a list of what you will be bringing.
I don't mean I need to know exactly everything you will have. here is an example (it is not for real)
I will be bringing nh red layers--assorted pullets 2 months old--new zealand bunnies--adult geese

we will be using the list for advertising purposes. we would like to be able to make a master list of animals-supplies-crafts that will be showing up at a given event. If you have something special please let me know. if it lays chocolate,white,brown,or colored eggs I want to know it will be there. these are things that folks are looking for. are you bringing eating or hatching eggs? if so what kind.
we are hoping this will increase foot traffic and sales in general.
