this will be our last milford swap this season. If you are looking for something and you live in that area, do not miss the opportunity to find that special bird or to find a good home for someone from your flock.
I am making my final choices for my winter flock. some of the birds that I am selling are real beauties. I try to talk myself out of a few of the special ones each week. I am trying to bring 1 or 2 silkies to each swap. this weekend I am thinking I will bring a silkie pair. the hen is black and the cockerel is a ginger red. the cockerel has show quality parents. he has a better head crest than most of the hens out there.
we will be combining with the farmers market again. they advertise and so do we. we hope there will be a good turnout and we hope to see you there.
anyone looking for a 5 month RRed rooster
very nice bird and they will be bring it to the tilton swap
on sunday
the weather man says the rain will be gone WILL SEE
We may make Tilton on Sunday...it depends on how badly the water creeps up here
We have a few misc. roosters (lg Brahma, Java, cochins mix, maybe a BCM) left and some misc. hens.
I have a 26 week old free "special" welsummer roo who needs a home or a stew pot. He got stepped on by some flock mates when he was young and is a bit "twisted" He functions absolutley fine - even started crowing - I do not need two.
