Been good. Hope all is well with you.. I almost came to Milford today but the wife's on a business trip, so I had to play Mr. Mom instead. I was going to hit the Wesford swap In the morning because I only have a few hours tomorrow before dad duty hits again. I thought about emailing you to see what you had left for hens from the original spring bunch.. By the way, that little OEGB Bantam Roo you gave me is Real Funny.. He trys to chase my standard Girls and gets his but kicked

I went to the Milford swap yesterday with my husband and bought one black Silkie hen and one Splash rooster. These are my first Silkies but when I saw the black one sitting on top of the cage in Milford and saw how people friendly they were I had to have her and then thought she needed a friend.

Hence the rooster. He crowed this morning in the house as we brought them in last night. It was the cutest thing this morning.....I was holding the black hen on my lap and one of my kittens jumped up and laid his head on her back and she did not even mind. Not even the dogs sniffing her. I LOVE her.....thank you to who ever the lady was who sold her to me.

I have 4 hens and 5 chicks (from ordered eggs) coming, and I'm expecting at least one of the chicks to be a rooster so I'll be "in business" in the Spring!
