Looks like you all had a great time at Milford. So glad you were inside!! Can not wait to see some 'chicken people" again.

Ever try to talk chicken with non-chicken folks

not the easiest. Does not work well for water cooler talk...

I will be at the Concord swap on the 24th. I have several cockerels from very nice breeders if anyone is looking for one. Wheaten and Blue Wheaten Ameraucanas. Blue, Splash, Blue Copper, Black Copper and Black Birchen Marans cockerels. Lemon Cuckoo Orpingtons too.

Also have some younger ones I will be bringing.

Can't wait to see you all there and talk chicken!

let me know if you hatch any of her babies. her father was a white black tail Japanese and her Mom was a Red frizzle Bantam Cochin. I'm looking for a Giant Frizzle Cochin if you come across any.... Did you see all the kids carrying around chickens? Those were Mine but most of them went out in a big crate.

I saw lots of kids carrying chickens. will let you know if I hatch something. lisa only lays occasionally now but when she does I hatch her kids. I had a lf pure cochin hatch today. it is the only cochin egg I had going. this season I am hatching in small quantities under moms. the chick is yellow. if it frizzles I will contact you.

We need to really get the word out on these swaps, especially the new ones and I am sure they will all be good ones. Greg has problems with people that like to mess with his ads on Craigslist so any help spreading the word is good. If you have facebook, that is a good place to let everyone know about the swaps. I have had many people tell me that they only came because they saw my ad on CL and FB.

thankyou. you are so right!!! we are trying everything we can think of to make these swaps better than ever. I would love to see more turnouts like we had last weekend. any advertising help we get would be great.
