So, I must be hard headed. Are you telling me they are frizzes? They are very soft and their hair, feather's curl back.
What Hoppy was saying is that yours are frizzled Silkies. AFAIK, the "frizzle" curl to the feathering is controlled by one gene. Any bird that gets that gene can be a "frizzle" -- frizzle is a trait, not a breed (like "bearded"). Most frizzles that you see are frizzled Cochins, but any breed can be a frizzle. Hence, frizzled Silkies

"Sizzles," I believe, are a new, establishing breed that is a blend of frizzled Cochins and Silkies, but is distinct from either breed. I knew that they have to have the frizzle feathering and black skin like a Silkie, but I didn't realize they're supposed to have smooth frizzle feathering and not fluffy Silkie frizzle feathering. What Hoppy is saying is that, if they have silkie feathers that are frizzled, that makes them a frizzled Silkie and not a Sizzle.

.... Got to love the names, right?

... I'll try to get some decent pictures of my girl up soon -- I *think* she qualifies as a real "Sizzle," though I bought her as a "cute chicken."
