Hey, I forgot to ask you what colors these little guys are going to be? And they are doing so well that Rob has taken an interest in them, so I was wondering how many more you might have hatching? Since they are going to be in the house, might as well have a few!!

You will have to tell me about them, do you have the parents? or did you buy in these eggs? I have looked at some images, and cant wait to see what color these guys come out! I think there is a little boy and a girl here.

What ever they are, Peepers just loves them!

As far as color goes you will have to wait and see.... I get many different colors. And yes I have the parents.

I still have another 2 that hatched today and I have some older ones (about 3 weeks) I had someone interested in the older ones, Ill check to see whats going on.

Well, just HAVE to share this with you guys!

After doing "chores" yesterday, I was back in the house and heard a TERRIBLE racket in the Silkie house

and I ran out just in time to see mama Gray and Gertie having a tug of war with what was left of an egg...the same egg that Mama Gray had been setting on!

My heart sank as I grabbed my little hoe to pull the shell away and clean the stinky mess, sure that the rotten egg was everywhere..... instead I found a CHICK!!!! The egg hatched!

My lil experiment worked and so did Solomon!! LOL!

Not only is he a good protector, he shoots a loaded gun!

So once Mama Gray's raised this one up, and recovered a bit..... I'll put a few more under her, and we'll be on our way with "meat birds"!

LOVE when a plan works!!

These guys need homes

...

3 geese (2 african gray, 1 toulouse) ... friendly (do not attack!)
1 pekin male duck
2 female ducks (I don't know what they are - the dark ducks in the picture)...

at one point there was 2 of everything but dogs got them

about 2-3 years old ... they still lay eggs in the spring/summer

They don't fly away!

i was hoping someone in the coastal area of NH or ME border would be able to help me out. i am looking for a LF faverolles or cuckoo marans pullet or hen. color quality is not important as long as they have the main characteristics that look good (beard/muff and 5 toes on the fav). my project boy needs a girl more his size right now. i just lost my favorite bantam fav hen to him last weekend and i really don't want to give him up just yet!

if anyone has one of these pullets or hens to sell please PM me!

eta: i am also looking for an EE pullet/hen or a LF cochin pullet/hen. colors do not matter for these.

The new chick is a meat bird...looks like a Barred Rock cross

Turkey (TD) got a reprieve until Christmas...he's really getting big too!

Will you be selling quail? I would LOVE to get a pair

Yes I think I will . I can't tell which is a male until I hear & C who is making that male call. I am sure I have 2 males. no eggs yet. I may put eggs under sofie , my cochin broody hen or get an incubator
