what sells better at the swaps do you guys find, little babies, 4 weeks,or 8 weeks up?
I'm not knowledgable in this as I have not been a seller. But I do know that when I went to the swaps last year looking for chicks, I was happy to get 6 wk old ones that were off heat. I bet with the new law in place, not having to buy 12 at a time, that the babies will be popular this year.

everything sells as long as they are healthy.
I will say that it is difficult from a vendors point of view to have 7 day olds.
they need to be under a brooder light.
that means you either need a portable generator or a power invertor that runs off your car battery.
Chicks of any age need to be kept warm. this is difficult to do on a cold windy or rainy day.
Now is the time to think ahead and make preperations for those conditions.
