in with her twin head buddy and a young polish roo. they act like they have always been together. no adjustment period needed. I think I need to make them little beenies before the cold weather comes.

how many roos did you find homes for? I can not believe how much you sold today and how fast they went. congrats

oh cheryl she is beautiful. I am so glad you were right. but,if I knew she was going to be so pretty she would still live here. I am wondering if she is a splash ee out of that beautiful pair I had. or she could be half ee and half polish which would explain the dark legs. I have a white crested blue polish hen that was in with my ee roo at that time.

we really miss you guys. we were all talking about you at lunch. your ears must have been burning. the girls and I were saying that greg does not turn red as good as donnie does.

if you are planning to come this way at all, there is going to be a chicken bbq at the next griffinbrook swap with all the fixings. we would love to have you stop in for a visit.

You never know, we will show up at one of these. Stranger things have happened. We are back to square one on the house hunting. We found split sills under the one we were supposed to close on the end of the month. We found another one that I liked alot better but don't know if I can qualify for it.
Tell Greg and the girls hi for us. You made Donnys day. He won't admit it but I know he misses the swaps. The one up here was nice but it just wasn't the same without you guys there.

I gave away one roo. And sold two to people who wanted roos. I met a lady there who wanted one of the "pure breed" roos that she had been looking for. The other bunch I knew one was a roo - she wanted the roo and not sure on the other 4 so I sold the unknown ones as "straight run" as she knew she was taking a risk, at a discounted price.
Heather bought one super fluffy cochin that I think is a roo but she is going to "wait and see" because she loves him.

I sold 14 hens almost at POL.
I came home with 5 roos and 3 bunnies!!! A great day was had by all.

I am glad my chickens are and look healthy because those sucker can EAT!!!

sorry to hear about the house. hope the new one works out.

if I ever get a chance I will have to take a photo of my great big neked baby. she has feathers on her head and neck but the body is still fuzz. she is the size of an adult silkie. she looks like something from a cartoon. if she does not get feathers soon, she will need a dog sweater this winter.

I talked to the lady who waited for you to buy a blue cochin roo. she was way early. I told her your birds were worth the wait. I think the one heather bouht is a girl. it was very pretty.

Well that fluffy cochin had better lay and egg or crow real soon to break the disagreement!
