I messed up.
I completely forgot that I moved several potted aloe plants into my gardening shed to avoid the cold. That works great when temps drop around freezing but is not protection enough if the temp drops significantly below freezing.
Well not only did the temp drop to nearly single digits on several days but I also forgot to water them all for nearly a month.
Tonight I remembered they were out there. All of them are limp and wilted. I set them outside since temps are in the mid-50s and it's supposed to rain all day tomorrow.
What are the thoughts on their ability to recover? Should I consider them goners?![]()
they recover easily. just don't water them too much. there is more chance they recover bc you didn't water them. in the worst case they will start from the roots next year.

Now they're saying 1/4-1/2 inch of rain, and then a flash freeze tonight.

Seems a bit suspicious
