So glad I came 2 Tilton 2day

I LOVE the girls

they R so beautiful. Hubby did not get the floor laid down 4 the small coop, so the girls R inside in my office in a larger crate. grain, water & a nice fluffy bed of pine shavings. My parakeets R chatting away , the boxer is sitting by them . I am over taken with them

. Did U have names 4 the girls ? Thank you so much !!
By the way to you have Welsummers? Marans ? Faverolles or Russian Orloffs?

Before someone says that the below is not a chicken swap issue, don't.

If anyone can email Manchester politicians and specificaly the zoning board in favor of chicken ownership I would appreaciate it. They are considering a residents request to put a chicken coop in his front yard. As he is thinking they are 'live stock" he may not be allowed. I have "pet" chickens in Manchester and many were bought at Chicken Swaps in NH. Furthermore, I have met several other Manchester chicken owners at NH Chicken Swaps. If they start to get people to stop having chickens in the city it will effect CHICKEN SWAP$. Lastly it could lead to banning hens in surrounding towns, which means less chicken swap traffic.

I am so glad everyone is getting along good. I really hated giving up Apollo but I am so glad they all went to great homes. It makes things alot easier. Good luck with them.
