Contact Mark Podgwaite at Dog River Bantams in Northfield Vermont and see if he has any left. He was selling some for 10.00 a piece a while ago.

I have a lead for someone in Danbury, NH but that is 1.5 hours away... I was really hoping someone might have some for sale or could bring some to the chichester swap as that's only 25 mins away

...

But thank you! ... I'll definitely keep that info handy - as I need some friends for winter so she stays warm enough!.

Jen (luvmysilkies) and I live about 15 mins from Danbury. If you set it up we could meet them at Shop and Save (about 5-10 mins from Danbury) and we could bring them to one of the swaps for you

No problem PM or Email if you get in touch with them.

did anyone notice that we have 2 swaps advertised in the value pack mailer? the next 2 saturdays we will be at osbornes agways. they have coupons in the mailer and they listed the swaps. that mailer goes to thousands of homes. it is pretty exciting

that they added the swaps to the mailer.

thanks to everyone who came out in the cold and wind the last 2 weekends. we had so much wind at 1 of the swaps the I bungied my cages to the table just in case. there are just 3 more swaps left this season. we have an ad in the union leader. we are still getting flagged on craigs list. it amazes me that people have sooo much time to devote to negative activities. greg got flagged 600 times this season. in spite of all the "problems" greg had to deal with, the stores are happy with the way things went. imagine how much the flaggers could accomplish if they put that effort into positive activities instead.

I hope many of you join us at these last few swaps. greg is already planning next season. he will be adding many new locations in areas that have never seen a chicken swap before. this is so exciting and fun. his hard work is really paying off. he has a waiting list of stores who want him to run swaps for them. the stores are very concerned that the swaps are run properly. with over 40 swaps under his belt, he has more experience than anyone else so is in high demand. I am very proud of him. thankyou blazing saddles THE nh swap director.

Cya'll Saturday!

I should have a Buff Orpington, and either a Barred Rock or a Silver Laced Wyandotte ... not sure which yet

(all pullets; due to start laying in early to mid December, though somebody laid and egg yesterday!)
I sold a few today that I was planning to bring to the swap, so I won't have as many there as I thought, but I will still have a couple.

And maybe some "drip on demand" water buckets!

(If anyone is interested in rabbits

let me know, I have a few I could bring, but won't unless someone is specifically looking for them. )
