ahh, My sister Jo thats into Biology & research say the dark meat is better 4 U. Like Turkey , that dark meat has more nutrients , yes white meat is awesome, but~~~~ FYI

I agree, but I'm told that for sales, the lighter meat is what people are looking for...anyone know? Thinking about farmer's markets, local stores etc...

Ohhh, Ok. Anyway. I am headed to Aprils in Claremont 2morrow for some hens & chicks.. Do U still want any marans ? the chocolate egg layers ? She has them & other of course. I am so bummed, I lost my chicks I bought at the swap I went with U too. So far Dan keeps saying no ducks, but some day mayB it will B.

Can't wait 2 C U again

great to see everyone today. could not believe the wind! way colder up there than it was at my house so I was underdressed. didn't bring alot with me but I sold out.

it was a good start to the season. came home to half the eggs in the bator with pips.

just checked the bator and I have my first chick.

It is dripping wet but I think it's a SPLASH showgirl

I will know better when it dries. I also saw a little beak poking through another egg.

Like you it was warmer at my house so I totally underdressed--still thawing out. But it was totally worth it knowing that the two boys and little Willow have great homes!! You'll have to let me know if that egg Willow laid is fertile and if it hatches. Curious to see if it's half silkie or half wyandotte!

I may see everyone again depending on what happens with us and the potential moving situation!
