And I know I already sent this pic to Janet (and Janet has claimed her) but thought Kathie and Cheryll might like to see Miss Luna since we were talking about her so much. I got her eating so her head is a bit blurry, but still...

Oh and Jen, you can see one of the guineas in the background. They actually came down today and were literally pecking on the coop doors.

They've been let back in so they will be much easier for me to round up so I can get them to you.

Well I came home with only 3 birds today, good for me BUT 2 were roosters. Oh and Blazin Stewey is a bully but were working on that one of my hens put him in his place. He went after me getting my pant leg and my Wyandotte knocked him down. So hopefully he will settle down.

She is very pretty! Is she laying yet?

I had a great time seeing everyone today. Look forward to more swaps this spring/summer. :)

Not sure but I don't think she is yet. Now that we've rehomed the one bantam, I'll know if Luna is laying as we can match the other eggs w/certain hens but are unsure about the smaller, cream colored eggs. Either Willow (the bantam) was laying a lot and/or my daughter wasn't collecting them (like she said she was), or Luna was adding to the egg count. I should know in a day or two, though!

I forgot to give you the egg crates today. Remind me next weekend at Agway. I had a great time today even though I froze my butt off. Thank you Laura for the the two boys. The Blrw is very nice looking and Jen has a Partridge hen for the other one. I got three cute Millie Cochins from Kathy as well as a broody BLRW hen. She was sitting on one egg until Jen's & Heathers Seramas laid an egg. She almost took my fingers off when I put it in with her. When we got home I loaded her up with Serama eggs of I tried to. Heather got bit quite a few times trying to put them under her. (Sorry Heather)lol. Hopefully she does better hatching the Seramas then my last try at it. It was really nice to see everyone after the long winter. I hear Wayne and Cher even spoiled big Blue by letting him live in the cellar for the winter.

I just candled some of the ones going to lockdown this week and they are all still swimming so I don't think losing power hurt them at all.
