I will be coming to the swap tomorrow and will have some 3 month old shamo's. I have a group of 1 stag and 4 pullets that I am selling as a group. If you are not familiar with these birds, please google them. They are very friendly to people and get very large (tall), some males can get 3 feet tall. the hens lay a large egg and are excellent mothers, the only drawback to them is that the roos are very aggressive to other roos, more so than any other roos, because they were originally raised as a game bird. These birds are more on the rare side and are being sold as pets only, not for fighting or illegal purposes. They do well at shows because there are not many of them around. I am selling them because of the fact that they have a voracious appetite and with the way feed prices are rising, they are eating me out of house and home! They are fully feathered and the colors are really nice.

I also will be bringing a couple of bunnies. A very small lionhead buck, 10 months old and just 2 pounds. He is a real sweetheart. And also a mini rex buck that appears to be bordering micro size. PM me with any questions on the chickens or the bunnies. I will also have a few crates and small cages available. See you tomorrow. I hpe the farmers market has tomatoes, I went last week and there were none

ETA: I will also have 2 LG incubators for sale, used for one hatch. I have far too many and have enough broody's now to do the work and save me on my electric bill! LOL

yes I do. I currently have 13 bunnies ready to go. I also have 4 litters that will be ready to go in a few weeks and 6 more does bred.

send me a pm to tell me what you are looking for. I sell with or without pedigrees. do to the fact that it is summer, they are priced lower than what I usually charge.

Very excited to go to the swap tomorrow - question - if I were to purchase one or two new birds - am I supposed to quarentine them for a month from my flock like I see many do? Do most people do this? I have a group of gals that are 8 week old and I see that there is someone bringing a lot of 8 week old cuties to the swap......... so how does that all work exactly - thanks for your thoughts!?!?

I sold a few cages, told myself I was not buying anything, then my other self told me to buy a baby bunny! I argued with myself, but myself won and she is here with me now!! But I did not get any chickens....did I? ...No, I didnt.

I am so happy with the two adorable Silkies I purchased! They are so cute and I hope will get along with my flock well. Excited to attend the Derry swap and see what else ends up coming home! Will be enjoying some eggs with breakfast tomorrow - thank you Blazingsaddles and purchased quite a bit from the farmers market as well. The "kids" were very tempting - as were the turkey pullets. Great swap.
