UPDATE: MARCH 14 2012
The New Hampshire Department of Agriculture is currently changing rules for any and all chicken swaps held in New Hampshire.
The new rules are posted on the vendor information page of chickenswapsofnh.com
The vendor page will be updated as necessary. rules change. check back once in a while.
one rule that changed in the last few days affects people who want to sell chickens at swaps.
ALL EGGS-CHICKS-AND CHICKENS NEED TO COME FROM NPIPS TESTED FLOCKS.
chickens 5 months and older need to be banded
This new department of agriculture rule means that all vendors will need to bring a photocopy of their npip card with them to every swap. It needs to be on display at your spot.
I'm looking to add a couple of blue and green colored egg layers. Does anyone have any young Araucana or Ameraucana layers for sale?
Thanks, Cheryll. I'll look around some more for layers first. If I can't find any, then maybe I'll get some pullets.
So psyched! Just ordered 15 Lavender Orpington hatching eggs! Can't wait!!!!!
