Can anyone tell me if there are ever coops/chicken supplies sold at these swaps? Or just the actual birds livestock? Looking to head to the chichester swap today...looking for a coop for 6 girls...

Hi Jenikate,
Hopefully you found Greg at the swap today as he does bring one to most swaps. They're mobile and very well built. If you didn't find him today he's on here a bunch and should see your post before next weekend. We're in Milford on Sat and Gilford on Sun.

anyone who missed the swap today missed some really great deals! some of the venders have reduced their prices in order to downsize for the winter.
I found a bunny vendor who had bunnies so inexpensive I couldn't believe my eyes. I looked at the price and went

I had no intention of buying a bunny when I left home but I found a little girl who I just couldn't resist. she is a smoke pearl wooly/dwarf. cute-tiny-friendly.

next week in milford we will be setting up with the farmers market.
in addition to all the great stuff to be had at the chicken swap, there will be the added bonus of fresh produce, baked goods, and plants.

Great swap on Saturday, the weather was perfect and we had a good time chatting with new and returning customers. Brought a bunch of pol Light Brahmas and all sold within the first couple of hours. The younger RIR pullets were also very popular!
Coming up this weekend (9/8 & 9/9) are the swaps in Milford and Gilford. I have 3 point of lay Light Bramahs left that I will be bringing if not sold at the house first. I've got 4 EE's and 2 Gold Wyandottes (NPIP) that I held back to let their bums feather back in from picking I'll be bringing, they're 18 weeks now. I'll definitely be bringing some 13 week old NPIP hatchery Barred Rock pullets, 11 Week old NPIP hatchery RIR pullets and 6 week old NPIP hatchery sex link pullets. I do have some npip hatchery sexed female chicks that will be 2&3 weeks old but am not planning on bringing any unless asked before Friday night. The little chicks include Black Australorps, Barred Rocks, Buff Orps and Gold Comets.

I'm looking for 1 or 2 young Americauna layers. Anyone have any out there? I'm in the seacoast area but will drive 45 minutes each way. Thanks.

Are you looking for Easter Eggers or true bred Ameraucana? Sorry to be a pill about the spelling, but it is hard to know what people are actually looking for. Had a difficult education myself with this issue, so am not being mean. I now have both as a result of my "education" LOL!

I have 4 hatchery americanas (easter eggers) within about a month of lay. I'll be bringing them Saturday and Sunday as well if they don't go on Sat. PM me if interested as my home may be closer for you.

yes, you're right, I spelled it wrong, thanks. But more importantly, is the difference that EEs can be mixed breeds?
