Going to the poultry show at the fairgrounds tomorrow . Anybody here going to be there? Looking to find a few roosters there. Hopefully a Silkie cockerel and a large rooster. Not sure what to expect never been.

I'll be there to look around. Hoping to find some unusual breeds for sale. I

Well..... this year was a TON of fun for my hubby and I! Can't wait for next year! Already have my breeds worked out and planned! Can't wait to get the 'bators back up and running!!!!

Where was everybody Sunday??? Geez, thought there would be a ton of peeps to check out, but only 3 vendors... one with no chickens, one with just a few left and then the one I won't go near....... had to go shopping at TCS instead. yeah of course it was soo really hard to do. LOL!

Anyone near Springfield VT have some Silver Laced Wyandotte for sale???

I enjoyed doing many of the swaps this year and I can't speak for everyone but a few things come to mind.
The NH Poultry Fanciers show was on Sun, I went to this to enjoy all the different breeds and the company. I didn't show or sell.
Walpole is a looonnnggg way for some of us.
I'm positive there are vendors out there with birds to offer but some vendors don't have many or any birds left, like myself. Its late in the season and I had to stop hatching/ordering chicks to raise at some point. I tried to plan out the number ordered/hatched to last until the end of the season however they sold quicker than expected.
I'm already planning ahead for next year and should be able to offer Blue, Black and Splash Laced Wyandottes in May/June.

Hey all! Sorry I haven't been around much lately. I have been having some health problems and haven't been feeling up to it lately. I did however start acquiring some new stock for my breeding/hatching plan for next year. I will be having White Call Ducks and Brassy Back OEGB's.....also planning for sexlinks soon as I can get my hens in order!

I am hoping to make it to Belmont next Sunday.....as of right now have some great looking Turkens and bantams that are for sale.

Here are some pics of my new birds! :)

Oh yeah...and if anyone is interested in them I will bring them to Belmont......Otherwise I will leave them home because they are too much of a "flight risk" lol

I have 2 Lady Amherst Pheasants....both male. They are almost 5 months old. $15.00 each
