hi all, getting ready to go to bed. got a big weekend.

going to try to get up extra early to make some custom packs of eggs.

think I will put all the blue together and all the white frizzled polish together.
not sure if I will make 6 or 12 packs.

I will have silkie eggs with me too.

I will figure all that out at 4am.

We will be there on time. I changed the vet appointment to a weekday so it doesn't interfere with my swaps.............

Happy sales to all on Saturday! I hope the sun warms up everything for you! Post all the goodies you see so I will know what I missed! LOL I am at my weekend class and am wondering about how all the eggs that started to hatch this morning in my bator are doing??? I will be going home tomorrow afternoon, so I hope they will be OK!!!

do eggs count as something 'not' alive when they haven't yet gone under a broody hen?!

i got 12 eggs from ChickMagnet to try and hatch under a broody bantam that needs a break from my boys!

What a fun swap. As we arrived people were asking us what were in the baskets before we could even put them in the display cages. We sold about 20 birds in all, and for once i was not the one to buy any birds! Shawn saw some barred rocks and kept hinting about "how nice they were and how much out 5 week old rock boy would like some girls." So since we sold some birds i relented and picked up a tri from Jen. This time it wasn't me!

We sold out giant homer crosses to some girls who thought they'd be a cool addition to their loft, and out polish found a home where she can be happy thanks Greg and Janet. Eggs are in the bator, and now it's off to the coop to prepare for tomorrow.
