Chicken Swaps

This was my fist selling swap. I sold out all birds I brought.

Only came home with the fat rabbit! It was great. So good to meet everyone!

I almost lost the little one. She wasnt doing so good just before we left the swap but I put her on sugar water and she started to perk right up and chirp on the way home and is doing fine now. I dont know if she got too cool or if the other babies I got stomped on her but she seems to be ok now. Thanks again.

Yes, and thanks again for the warmer, I think it did the trick. We put her in a little box under the heater on the way home too. I was so glad to hear her start chirping. I am downloading some pictures from today in a minute so I will put them up for everyone to see what a great day it was. I was so glad to sell the pair of d'anvers. He just did not like me and crowed tooooooooooooo loud. Sold out eggs and birds. Only came home with the one rooster from yesterday. I will take him to Milford and if he doesnt sell I might just keep him for my EE girls.

does anyone know how those watering cups from cackle work?? It says they go on soda or water bottles, but I cant get them to stay on either.

We got some last year because we saw Amanda had them. They work real good. If the bottle is a little loose we put black tape around the bottle and then twist it in the cup. Just dont try to use the bigger bottles, they don't work well.
