chicken sweater?

Ok. Weird question.... I wonder, could I make her a chicken sweater to cover up her wound so it can heal, but allow her back w/ her flock? I'm worried about her getting cold w/o the others to snuggle w/ at night.

Do you think they would just remember she's wounded, or smell it and still pick on her?

I would think that they would pick at her anyway because of the sweater..but, you could try it..they go by what they see. they would senses the wound underneath and pick at her...only if she appears weak.

Why yes.. I DID crochet my chicken a sweater ... you can tell by the look in her eye that she just LOVES it! NOT. They other chickens are looking at it, trying to peck at her and getting no where. I'm keep a close eye on them. Little bit is a *****! Gonna be ***** stew soon!
