Chicken Swollen Eyes

I let my hens out this morning and all were fine. I've come home late this evening (right on dark) to find one of the hens has both eyes swollen shut. I've rinsed them with saline until I could open them and put some antibiotic eye ointment in them. Just wondering if there's anything else I should do - or do I play the wait and see game?
I will do the same in the morning if they're swollen shut again. All of the other's looked fine.
