Chicken that can't see?

I just acquired a chicken today - beautiful, very healthy looking, and super sweet. However, she is very small for her age, and she can't seem to find her food. It seems that she can't see so well. She sees some things - she looks at lights and notices other things. But if I put a handful in treats in front of her, she doesn't even react. She doesn't seem sick at all, and I'm told she has been this way since she was a chick. Does anyone know what causes sight impairment in chickens and is there possibly any way to reverse this? I'm wondering if she could be deficient in some way? How do I make sure she eats enough? Should I try to supplement her diet with a liquid food by syringe?

Can you post closeup shots of both of her eyes so we can see what they look like? We might see something that could help figure out why she can't see.

Have you tested her response to each eye? The right eye focuses on close objects like finding food on the ground. The left eye focuses on distance to watch for predators. Test each eye separately since each operates separately, unlike human eyes which work in tandem.

I have a blind hen and she can't find anything on the ground. It has to be in a bowl and she then has a big target to aim at. Her food and water are in a place that she has memorized, so she can always find them when she needs to eat or drink. When I dole out treats, she gets isolated in the coop with her bowl of treats so the other chickens don't eat them all before she can take her time finding each bite.

Hope this is close enough. The eyes look normal but maybe there is some slightly enlarged tissue in the corner of her eyes.
