Chicken throwing up brown black liquid

Not sure if she is drowning or sick right now? When we hold her head down she is th orign up brown/black liquid and very weak.. And ideas?

She may be suffering from a sour crop, especially if the liquid is foul smelling. Be very careful not to hold her head down until you do some reading about sour crop since she can choke on her secretions and die. If you do a search at the box at the top of this page, there is a ton of info about sour crop. I would feed her only water with electrolytes and a little plain yogurt today until you determine if that is what she has. Usually a sour crop follows an impacted crop, and there may be a bacterial or fungal infection in the crop and digestive system. I'm not that experienced with it, but Two Crows and some others can help you.

It was a horrible night for "mami" we think she aspirated some of the vomit and almos didn't make it! Now she is breathing normally, we are feeding her yoghurt with glucose, she is gaining strenght, we got apple vinegar and are going to start giving her a bit, thank you for your help !!!
