Hi guys,

I was out today and noticed one of my girls limping. Poor thing, always seems to be one thing or another with her. The middle toe on one of her feet is swollen and is missing a scale on the top part of the toe. I'm thinking she might have gotten stepped on by one of the horses or something and that it might be broken. In any case, she's limping when she tries to move too fast and that toe is not gripping the roost at all. I read some other threads on the forum that suggested to me to maybe wrap the toe to "splint" it but other than that it will pretty much take care of itself. What I'm wondering is if I should be concerned that she's missing a scale? She doesn't appear to be bleeding right now or anything of the sort. Any thoughts and advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the advice! I went ahead and did that earlier since I figured if it didn't help it couldn't really hurt either. I'm hoping it helps since the poor girl looks just pitiful.
