Why do such cute fluffy feathered critters have such bizarre alien-like feet?
They're like little prehistoric alien feet carrying these floofy plump little bodies around.
I mean, I've never seen an alien, I don't actually believe they exist, but if they did, I suspect they would have toes and feet like a chicken. I do love my chickens, but they have some seriously weird toes on some seriously weird feet. Just an observation. Am I the only one who wonders on such an odd thing as chicken toes?

I never really looked at birds feet, until I got chickens that is, and now as a good little chicken mama I have to check out their feet!

Yeah, some chicken feet are pretty gnarly but rest assured, it's nothing a pedicure can't fix. Gotta get those feet all clean, shiny and buttery soft.
