So the silkie roo we had loaned to a neighbour to help bring up some chicks was looking under the weather.
I went to collect him and he was sat with an ex-batt hen sat on top of him!!
We put him in our "hospital hutch" in the shed with a heat lamp for a couple of nights. I decided to put him back out with our flock this morning to get him some fresh air and was planning to put him back in the shed tonight....
When I went to fetch him he was fast asleep in the house with an ex-batt and a mama silkie hen squished on top of him!! He looked happy and alot brighter so I left him with them.
What is with the sudden urge for all the ladies to sit on top of him? Are they keeping him warm?! I will try to get a photo tomorrow.... its a funny sight!
