Adina walked over to Midnights booth, “hi Midnight” she smiled “your usual?” She asked

"Oh! H-Hi!" Midnight stuttered. He looked frantically over to Ox, standing 2 yards away, talking to Lacy. Ox nodded, and shot Midnight a thumbs up.
"Uh, Adina?," He asked, " Mealworm Cafe just opened, do you wanna catch some lunch?"

“Um could we make it dinner?” She asked “I’m working until lunch, but sure sounds good”. Adina spun, her glossy hair cascading down her shoulders

Adina called over to the head cook “table 9, ordered their usual”, the cook spun the food over to her and she balanced it in her head and wings

Here ya go” Adina said passing a plate to him. She sat herself down across from him, “you know Midnight” she said thoughtfully “why did you ask me out and not the other girls?” She asked motioning to a waitress who blushed and hurried off, “most hens have a little thing for you” she explained
