Emerald started backing towards the door. "No exactly......" she answered hesitantly. Suddenly, the young pullet tripped and the contents of her satchel spilled onto the floor. A gold and dimond tiara rolled across the room and bumped into Brianna ' s foot. Emerald thought fast. "Ever wanted to join the thieving business?"

Emerald's eyes widened. "Don't you realize what would happen?" A loud banging from downstairs reverberated through the room. "They would hang you weather your family was rich or not!" Emerald looked down at the spilt tiara and coins, she didn't know what to do. Then, she looked up. "You don't have any secret passages leading to the woods do you?"

“Yes I do. Come.” Brienna grabbed her wing and dragged her towards the side of her bed. Brienna lifted a few floor boards and held it open “follow the passage”

"Thank you very much for your kindness" Emerald said with a bow. She swept up the coins back into her satchel with her right wing. Then gently took the tiara from Brianna. By now, there were heavy footsteps on the stairs. Emerald fished out several coins and gave them to her rescuer. "Hopefully we will meet again" she clucked. Emerald stepped down into the passageway and started running.
