You all have been so helpful with information about making a chicken tractor, that we decided to make one for our 51 Freedom Rangers. And, we were blessed with almost all the PVC that we need, except for the joints. I checked Lowe's and they didn't have any 3 or 4-way elbows, or clips or anything like that. Where would be a good place to get those, either locally or online? Thanks so much!

You should be able to find all the fittings you need at a HomeDepot or most other hardware or home improvement stores. Be sure that your tractor wont be blown away in the wind. I've considered using PVC for a tractor but we sometimes have wind gusts that I'm sure would topple a light structure like that. Perhaps you can fill your frame with sand to keep it weighted a bit.

I agree with ShortAnda. It's worth checking around locally, especially for the 3-way elbows. I had trouble finding the 4-way connectors, though. I ended up getting them online. I guess they make them mostly for greenhouses. I don't remember exactly which online source I ended up using, but I know I cringed because they were more expensive then the standard Lowes connectors, and I had to pay shipping.

One place I looked was http://www.greenhousemegastore.com .

Way back when I helped my cousin build one he had the wrong fittings so he drilled small holes and put long bolts through and made his own corners attatching the bolts with wires and screws into a fitted 2x4 T he made and put on the inside like a corner .. this also added weight . Dont know if that will be helpful or will get your creative juices going as it is hard to type it out and I have no pictures . but it worked fine .
