I am building my tractor and wanted to know does anyone use litter like hemp or pine flaked on the base of the run ..? Do you leave you tractor in one space for a while? Have you had issues with predators.

You do not have your location in your profile,,,,,, so it is hard to give advice as to how you should handle your tractor. What predators are of concern.:idunno
Generally, peeps have tractors to move around on their green grass/weeds/etc.
This way chickens do not destroy vegetation totally, and keep getting new areas continuously. If you live in a desert area, you would move it around to keep from getting too hot, or cold. :idunnodepending where, and time of year.
A tractor should keep predators out. The base needs to be good enough not to be easily lifted by predator. A level or flat ground is also very much needed/desired.
Many peeps raise broiler chickens in tractors,,,,, because they are eating machines=pooping machines. They move to next area for obvious reasons.
WISHING YOU BEST,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and :welcome

Pics of your tractor would help here, with its size and how many birds you keep in it.
Like @cavemanrich said the main purpose of a tractor is to move it daily,
so no bedding would be needed on the bottom.

Here's how to add your general geographical location to your profile.
It's easy to do, and then it's always there!

The reason we want your general location is that many many chicken keeping needs are affected by climate and what predators are in the area.

For example.....
My chicken keeping needs here in northern Colorado will be much different than a chicken keeper in Louisiana or Florida or Alaska.....etc.

It looks like this will have better hardware cloth it's . I live in North georgia will only have 4 hens 2 Easter eggers 1 lavender Orpington and 1 golden comet
