Got some chicken treats finally blooming!

Looks good , I grew a garden for mine , not really but I’m so tired of picking peas and beans that we’ve started pulling whole plants and feeding them to the hens !! Why do I plant a garden ??

Haha we do peas and beans but only 10 plants a piece. That’s more than enough for my tiny family. We do a 20ft by 25ft garden. Everything on 28in spacings. Front yard is the herb garden. Instead of pretty flowers we have chives, mint, basal, Thai basal, rosemary, oregano, and one pineapple in the midst!

That’s smarter than us . Hubby tilled a 40 x 25 foot plot because he could , now we try to fill it each year for the two of us . Good thing we have the boarding kennel because our customers get veggies if they want them or not .... usually they want them and our watermelon is really good and pumpkins and they take up a lot of room .
