Chicken Treats

I have a question about treats. I have three chickens. I give them a corn on the cob everyday, which I hang on a rope from a shepherd's hook. They love it, and it's great fun for them. It's part of our daily routine. But, is that too much corn for them? Should I not be giving them one everyday?

That does sound like a nice treat, and it's very nice of you to do that for them. You must love your chickens a lot. ❤

To be honest, it does sound like a lot for only 3 chickens. And everyday? Yeah, it's too much. Maybe once a week?

I usually do a dozen of corn when the corn is ripe in the summer but I have 17 chickens and they won't eat it all in one day. They usually get 2 dozen during that month time and then just as fast as the corn is ripe, the corn season is done.
You may want to change up the treats, you can by treat dispensers in a ball form and put treats in it, lettuce, cabbage, grass, apples, etc.
