Frozen treats that chickens love!!

I have a lot of cassava planted around the place. It's an excellent plant. Provides shade, can handle extreme heat, wet and dry. Grows in poor or rich soils, albeit at different rates. Extremely pest resistant. Also the chooks love it.
When it's mature I prepare and cook the roots. Along with a good amount of leaves. I then roughly mash it all and freeze it in take away/food prep containers, keeps for months. It's has some protein and lots of energy. Just defrost overnight and put on the grass for them to devour.
Free and decent treat I reckon. The flock certainly likes it.
