I make my gang a similar concoction...Cook up oatmeal with some fresh goat milk, add plain yogurt, and applesauce. They love it! They also love Ramin noodles, I make up 4 packages (I have 56 chickens) in only about 2 cups boiling water. I let the noodles sit till there's hardly any water left, I only add 1 flavor package of flavor, (oriental) and spoon on some black and cyanne pepper. Stir it all up and dish it out into 4 pans. I let it cool off good before I give it to them, and they peck the pans totally clean!
