I'm starting this forum for anyone wanting to post recipes for there chicken treats!
I have a easy recipe for those of us that do not have as many vegetables or cannot afford them! It might not be the healthiest treat but my chickens love it!
Take a plate and place bread on the bottom (it is best to cut the bread in small pieces) , ontop of that put strawberries or some other fruit, place lettuce or grass ontop of that, put a small handful of nuts or grains on top of the lettuce, mist it lightly with water, place in freezer for a frozen snack or serve as is. They love it on a hot day! (Do not feed this to them too much because its not the heathiest treat) you might only feed them this on really hot days!
