Chicken TV works both ways

Haha when we had our chickens in our last house their coop and run was below my bedroom window. I’d wake up and be there would be 4 chickens watching me getting dressed. It was so funny. When we had to rehome them due to circumstance change (broke my heart) my friend would send me photos of the 4 of them sitting on the wall watching her wash up in her kitchen. I’m so excited to have all this fun again soon!

I too put a camera in my coop. It has ability to move so I can see everything they do and can see the action on my phone from anywhere I get wifi!

I read that chickens have names for us people, that they call out the names when they hear our door open or any indication we are coming closer. I certainly hear one loud hen screaming my name!

I’ve read that somewhere. A blog, I think. The author had taken pains to learn the meaning of the different clucks, coos, and other chicken sounds. She realized they had a sound for her!
