Catalana del Prat, or a Minorca, little bit heavier

if you find nothing at all, i can send you some eggs of Bionda Piemontese, they can arrive you within 3 days, by air mail

Hi Slowbill

Thank you for your offer, but I don´t think I´m ready to do the incubation bit yet. I may take you up on your offer at a later stage, but as I am still a relative chicken-keeping novice I think I´d worry myself to death that I wasn´t doing it right.

I´ve got three girls now and I´ve posted their pictures on the forum. Maybe you can identify the breed, because I haven´t a clue!

they sure are Isa Warren, egg layers commercial hybrids, normally, they don't survive the second year, and passed during the molting by disease

trust me, search some rural hybrids to start with, they can give you more satisfaction at low cost

when you improve your experience, you can try to raise some pure breed, Catalana del Prat in first choice, looks like Bionda Piemontese, except for the leg color
