Chicken vs. Duck fight???

Has anyone had issues between a drake pekin duck and a rooster? We came home to find our drake and our rooster bloody! There are no signs of a struggle other than the boys. Very odd because the roo typically steers clear of the drake as he's huge. I've never seen any major issues before and we just added 120 Sq feet to their outdoor run! Any ideas??? TIA

As a kid I had a RIR rooster that would constantly initiate fights with a muscovy drake. One day the drake had enough and killed him.

The drake definitely rules the run. I've just never seen a challenge. I might have to review security cams to see what happened.

Can't really see the whole run with my security cameras, I'll be fixing that. Looks like the drake was chasing the roo and putting himself between the roo and the his gf. Not really sure who started it but hopefully something was learned by all. Went on for over 10 minutes from the posture of the hens as I could only catch glimpses of them every now and then on camera. Figures. I quadruple their space and they fight. Lol
