I can give more if I need to! She's acting a lot better: she really loved the cooked chicken I gave her!Can you post some clear updated photos of the wound?

I feel so bad for her!Ouch!Poor gal.
Does not look infected as of now though.
Infection usually include more redness and swelling.
I feel so bad for her!
I'll post if I see anything strange show up.
She's eating and drinking good, she loves tipping the food over so I have to clean it out. I have a few chicken bits in the fridge I can give to her. She's not too picky when it comes to her food.I don't see anything too alarming.
She's eating/drinking good? I would try keep the wound moist with some triple antibiotic ointment and offer some poultry vitamins in her water. A little chopped chickenegg or other protein in addition to her normal feed will help give her a boost.
I hope she recovers soon, please keep us posted.
Thanks for the suggestion! I'll have to take a few pictures.I am not an expert but posting a photo every few days or every week of the healing process might be beneficial. There are lots of pros on here that would be able to easily identify anything amiss.
That is just a suggestion though.
I hope she is all healed up soon!![]()
