We've decided to use kennel sections to make the walls of our chicken run. The chickens will be locked in at night in the Coop.THE only predators we have during the day or would be pretty much Hawks. I went to the farm store to find chicken wire to cover the top to protect from Hawks. They have the one inch holes and the 2 inch holes the one inch holes cost almost twice as much. iF we are protecting from Hawks wouldn't the 2 inch holes work fine?

I use the 1" on top of my run, and I am completely satisfied that it's hawk proof. But I can't imagine a hawk going through 2" either.

That's what I was thinking also but I wasn't sure if somebody had an experience that would make me think .that I would need the one inch holes vs the 2 inch holes. The kennel sections are 2 inch holes approximately... ?
