Have you tried soaking the foot, then gently scrubbing with a soft brush to see if that will come off - looks like poo or debris in the scales.

I washed and brushed it the "scabs" came off and the next day they didn't return so i guess it was just debris.I had a chicken that one day her foot started to blow or 5x its thickness and scabs started to appear all over i just wanted to make sure this one didnt have the same thing.Thank you all for helping me with my chicken"s boo boo

I'm glad it came off Sometimes it's hard to tell if it's a bruise or just something they stepped in

It never hurts to ask, chickens can have injuries to the feet and toes which would need attention. I'm glad all is well.

She seems to have lost her limp but the area where the scab was has swollen a little and is rock hard. Does that mean she broke her toe?

There is no scab anymore just pink flesh the scales haven't grown back over yet.I dont think it is bumble foot because the wound was on top of the toe

Well you should wash her leg daily and if that does not work in around two weeks take her to a vet

UPDATE: The wound looks healed but she still has the swelling and heat

Try soaking in an epsom salts bath every day to see if that will help with the swelling and inflammation.
