I don't know hun. I am very upset that i had the chance to send her in for testing, but was too selfish to let her go.No no...I'm not saying it had anything to do with her face. I was just wondering.

The state vet that i sent the pics to, said he would explain further. He only addressed the yolk stalk that had regressed back to the immature stage. Maybe he sees something that we can't. He's quite busy, so now i have to wait. I am pretty mad that i couldn't send her in for a necropsy. It's only $50 to get it done here, but i would've wanted to get her back, and that would have cost me $150...
Stupid me wanted her back, well now she's buried in my backyard and i won't ever find out for sure what she may have had!
I bought a very nice $160 microscope, so i could do some testing. I have almost everything on hand that i would have needed to do a biopsy of the organs. I was so distraught that i had to end her misery, everything i wanted to do after her passing, went over my head and out of my thoughts. Pretty mad at my self...
I'm sorry. I know this exact feeling.I don't know hun. I am very upset that i had the chance to send her in for testing, but was too selfish to let her go.
Thanks for sharing her with us.Oh well. That's it. It will forever be an unsolved mystery. Besides her face looking bad? She was the strongest chicken i have ever seen. She wouldn't give up till the end. But her eye started to fill with pus and that was the dead eye. This is just too horrible!![]()
