What did the joint feel like before? Was it all loose and floppy or stiff? I have a girl with a weird scrape on her back and leg injury, limping but doesn't feel broken. There's not visible injury to the leg but I don't want to try to manipulate it if it's broke!

Gently feel her leg & see if any areas feel extra warm, swollen or painful. That may help narrow down the problem.

You can check to see if she has a Bumblefoot sore on her foot that might be causing her to limp

If the problem is a Slipped Tendon, it needs to be corrected ASAP.

Found out my bird was hit by a car, her scrape is healing fine but her leg is still messed up, she hops on it but is not walking she has been on metacam since it happened. She's moving around ok and sits a lot she is eating fine, spoiled with fruit and veggies into garage. My silver laced wyandotte was hit and killed on Friday and left there! Since them the rest have been pen up. I had to clip wings on some they were flying out. Moving the coop and building a big pen for them, people are jerks!
