I have a RIR hen that has been exhibiting egg bound behavior (duck walking, hard abdomen, swollen vent). I have examined her internally three times no egg! Her wings and tail are down and she is having trouble walking. She eats and I have been giving her poly vi sol and antibiotics in her water. She is getting weaker and I don't know what else to try. Please give me suggestions on what to do and what you think it could be. Thanks in advance!!
I've also given her calcium and lubed her with Prep H. Abdomen is now soft and I still can't feel an egg.
