I have recently lost one chicken and am not sure what the cause of death was. Two of my other hens have feather lost to their rear (molt?) one of which is extreme with no feathers down to the skin (Speckled Sussex). They are all approximately a year old. I want to make sure they haven't got some disease and don't want to lose any more hens. Their egg laying has slowed down too. I have a Moran, Speckled Sussex and a Barnvelder. Can anyone helpme diagnose the problem please? Thanks.
