When our temps got down to about 8 degrees a couple of weeks ago one of my hens got bad frostbite on her comb. The other 13 had no signs that it affected them. She has lost about 3/4 of her comb so far but doesn't seem to be suffering any ill effects from it other than getting picked on more than normal by the other chickens. They were all in the coop together so I guess she must have been sitting in a bad place.
