I noticed by Gold Lace Wyndotte pullet had a growth in the corner of her eye this morning. Has anyone seen anything like this before? She seems to be feeling good, and does not have any other growths anywhere that I can see on her body. None of the other chickens have visible growths.

I know it's likely difficult or impossible for someone to tell what it is from the attached picture, but if anyone has seen something similar with their chicken, it would be really helpful. I'd like to know what to expect with her :/

Welcome to BYC. It could be an inclusion cyst of the conjunctiva, and the white material may be keratin. It looks like it has leaked a bit. You could try lancing the white material with a sterilized needle and try to express some of the keratin inside. That may need to be done more than once. A vet could possibly use some silver nitrate to cauterize the cyst. Just to let you know, I am not a vet, may be wrong, and I would see a vet if at all possible.

I would also use an antibiotic ointment in the eye, such as Terramycin or plain Neosporin ointment twice a day. Apply a dot just inside the lower lid where it will melt and spread.
