Hello. I have a 4.5 month old Barr Rock Hen who has a wound on her head and her cheek area. The cheek area the skin is torn. Her eyes have been swollen shut as well. I would post a picture but the wound is so tiny it’s like a needle prick and hard to see. She doesn’t seem interested in food or water but I have been putting spray on her wound (dabbing it on). I think it’s Vetrimycn (spelling?). I have also been using a dropper to give her water and a bit of nutridrench. Today I got her to eat a bit of scrambled egg and crumble but everything she is getting is so minuscule. Any tips? I assume it is from a rooster and he has been removed and she is in quarantine. I will add she does stand up and move around some. I even found her sitting on her waterer. Other times she’s sitting with her head curled like she is scared and in pain. Any help is welcomed. I love this girl!

I'm very new to this... but I suggest dis-infecting it everyday (If your not already doing it) maybe take her to a local vet and try to get her fixed and your best bet is to wait and try to help her heal with other comments since I'm not to good at this you should probably not take my advice but its here Sorry XD

(Excuse my poor English its my second language

If the wound is deep but the puncture is small, she may have an abscess. See if you can find a local vet who treats birds, as she might need the abscess drained and a course of antibiotics.
